In an era where misinformation spreads faster than facts, the power of truth has never been more important. SDG 16 calls for peace, justice, and strong institutions — goals that cannot exist without honesty and transparency. Experts say that fake news, political corruption, and weak justice systems destroy trust between people and the government. Without truth, there can be no peace. “Peace is not just the absence of war,” When citizens are misled, when governments hide information, and when people stop questioning lies, society begins to crumble.

Justice starts with individuals choosing honesty. When we tell the truth, we create trust. When we lie, we destroy it. Strong institutions depend on honest citizens — not just politicians.

Being “intrusive” doesn’t mean being rude — it means curious, critical, and brave. Question sources. Verify information. Demand truth from leaders. Because when lies rule, peace dies. At The Intrusive Truth, our mission is simple: to tell the truth, even when it’s inconvenient.

At De La Salle University – Dasmariñas (DLSU-D), students are leading by example in promoting truth, justice, and strong institutions — in line with SDG 16..Without facts, there is no truth and peace.
